ABOUT WOODLAND VIEW SCHOOL
Welcome to Woodland View Junior School. We have 6 classes, 2 mixed age, in a village school situated in Spixworth, just outside of Norwich.
At Woodland View, every child is encouraged to discover and nurture his and her special gifts and talents through a stimulating curriculum that has global dimensions, going beyond the basic national curriculum requirements.
We have a dynamic team of teachers and support staff who act as exemplary role models, educating and nurturing each child, enabling them to achieve high standards of academic attainment whilst also enabling them to become capable, caring and confident human beings.
Alongside our hard-working, dedicated and highly trained staff is a whole community of parents and carers, each contributing to our learning environment and the school’s wonderful and creative ethos.
Woodland View Junior School has the advantage of being set on extensive beautiful grounds adjacent to woodland. We have spacious buildings equipped with good facilities.

Most of the pupils transfer at the end of Year 6 to Sprowston Community Academy. The Headteachers of all of the schools that feed into Sprowston Community Academy meet regularly to discuss common issues.
Woodland View Junior School is a popular junior school in Spixworth, Norfolk. Spixworth is a large pleasant village just outside the city of Norwich. There are about 152 pupils on roll and applications exceed the Planned Admission Number of 45 per year group. Most of the pupils come from Spixworth Infant School, which is very close by, and there is a very good relationship between the two schools. Recently, both schools have federated, to continue building on that strong relationship
